Does geothermal heating work in winter?
The ground contains a constant amount of heat whatever the exterior temperature, an incredible amount of energy, much more than is necessary to heat a house! It is therefore necessary only to choose a system powerful enough and adapted to the requirements of your house for you to make good use of it throughout the year. If specified in conformity with the technical regulations in force, our system provides for 120% of the actual demand, every day of the year.
Geothermal heating is completely adapted to the severest of climates.
Is the system completely safe?
Completely. The system uses in part the natural energy of the soil, and part electricity to transfer this energy into the house. Inside the house, the hot water circuit uses tap water.
Finally, the generator uses a small quantity of non toxic refrigerant gas to complete the circuit. So, there is nothing dangerous in the system.
No flammable gases or liquids, no risk of explosion, no smells or fumes... Géothermies systems are safe at every level.
